"20 week" Sonogram!

Woohoo! We've been waiting for our 20 week sonogram appointment for a long time! This is when we were supposed to be able to find out the gender, but we got lucky and found out early. Actually, Dr. Goss took a guess even earlier than our 16 week sono, and ended up being right! This 20 week sono is the one that does lots of careful measurements of the baby, and checks for several birth defects and things like that. Unfortunately, the pictures weren't that great, and the doctor was confusing because he talked fast and in doctor language. Also Chandler kept getting his big head in my way of seeing the screen! 

Well, they're all sideways, darn it. The top one is a confirmation picture of the weenie. The bottom 2 are his profile. Right now he's positioned with his head way down and his body flopped on top! Doesn't seem comfortable, but it explains why I havent been feeling him kick. 


The sonogram results were fantastic! We learned that everything looks perfect! The due date hasn't changed, and little man looks very healthy. The doctor found a full lip and a nose bone, meaning he doesn't have a cleft and doesn't have Down Syndrome! We are very thankful for that news!
